USA. Four companies are building wood waste biomass power plants . One is 'Peregrine Energy Corporation' which is investing $135 million in a 50 MW plant in South Carolina. Construction starts after granting of the air permit which is planned in May. The other three companies who are currently developing projects are Energy Investors Funds LLC, BioEnergy Development Co. and Florida Biomass LLC. Please read more over their projects here.
