USA. Due to lacking information no final decision could be made whether the biomass plant is going to be built. The board of commissioners need more information about biomass resource prices and electricity costs for running the plant, but they are not willing to pay for a further study. In the meantime, the department of energy announced march 3rd that funds between $2 - $8million are available for municipalities to invest in energy efficient technologies and CHP systems.
