USA. The public power utility 'Lansing Board of Water & Light' (BWL) proposed to built a new power plant 10 months ago. The plan encompassed a power plant running on mainly coal supplemented by biomass which was immediately opposed by citizens. BWL is still taking a timeout for reviewing the power plant plan.
